The DP250 Drum Press compacts steel drums and barrels in less than a minute with 25 tons of pressing force. Covering just 1m², it compacts drums and barrels to about a tenth of their original size.
Plastic drums, steel barrels and containers up to 200 litres in size can be compacted in the 250 Drum Press.
A Drum Press 250 with quiet, 2-stage hydraulics and an automated stop function simplifies the compaction and disposal of these containers, thereby minimizing the space used storing waste.
The small floorspace footprint and spray guard ensure that the DP250 can safely operate in a clean and hygienic environment.
The DP250 is a Hydraulic Drum Press, designed with ergonomics and user safety in mind. Not only does it have a relatively small footprint of just over 1m², it features a surrounding spray guard with a large viewing window, allowing users to safely operate the press.
The small size allows for the Drum Press to be installed at the locations where drums are used. This creates a fluid, integrated waste management system from creation to compaction.
The top of the drum press features three venting spikes that pierce holes in the drum during the pressing cycle and the chromed piston compacts drums with 25 tons of pressing force. The full pressing cycle lasts just 32 seconds, meaning that drums and barrels can be continuously loaded and compacted at a steady and regular rate.
Compacted drums are a tenth of their original size, and can easily be stacked and stored. Energy saving, quiet 2-stage hydraulics with automatic stop at the end of the cycle.
The DP250 boasts chromed piston electrical and hydraulic overload protection, as well as a state of the art control system that ensures safe and simple usage and long lasting protection against damage.
The DP250 Drum Press also features a collection drain, which can be connected to a disposal system, allowing excess fluid to safely run off.
