Recycling insulation
The Mil-tek IC60 is an insulation compactor. It shreds and compacts mineral wool and stone wool that is typically used to insulated buildings and homes. Via a large opening, used insulation can be top-loaded into the machine.
A large screw conveyor compresses the material into a fine powder, removing the layered memory and allowing for dense compaction. Designed to fit a standard shipping container, the IC60 has several inbuilt safety features include safety sensors to protect users and particle filters to remove glass dust.
The IC60 can compress over 500kg of mineral wool per hour, and the compressed material loads directly into a flexible bulk bag (big bag), allowing for easy transport. The compressed mineral wool can be directly recycled, without further processing.
