Since 1999, Mil-tek Scotland has been selling balers and compactors in Scotland, and in doing so providing full onsite waste management and recycling services and support to valued customers all across Scotland and the isles.

The Story

“Mil-tek Scotland was established in 1999 as the first UK branch of Mil-tek, selling balers and waste presses to Scottish businesses. We sold our first baler in 1999 to our first Scottish customer. Since then we’ve grown Mil-tek Scotland to become the market leader for balers in Scotland, though not just in balers; in waste compactors, and in waste management, waste consultation and recycling.

From our base in south Glasgow, our technicians and sales staff travel the length and breadth of Scotland to provide complete waste management solutions to Scottish businesses: from as far as Wick in the North, to Stornoway on the Outer Hebrides as well Inverness, Aberdeen, Dundee, Fraserburgh, Perth, Stirling, Edinburgh, Prestwick, Ayr, Dumfries and the Borders. We run on-site surveys, carbon footprint reports, waste handling studies, baler and compactor sales, installations and training, as well as technical support and service. We also supply the Oil & Gas Industry both on and offshore, with platforms in the North Sea using customised offshore versions of our recycling machines.

As well as belonging to the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, Mil-tek Scotland take part in many local events including sponsorships and exhibitions to further promote waste reduction and recycling initiatives.”
